Job description

B2B Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Midland, Michigan.

Job Description

This position cares for patients before, during and after angiography, interventional, angiographic cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of cath process, post-cath care, patient education. Scrubs in for procedures and assists other members of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Responsibilities

(35%)

  • Performs nursing care of the catheterization / angiography patient.

    • (35%)

  • Operates equipment, i.e., cardiac output, hemodynamic, pacemakers / ICDs, intraaortic balloon pump, etc. Transfers patients, stocks supplies and performs basic office procedures.

    • (15%)

  • Scrubs in for procedures with the physician.

    • (15%)

  • Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets.

    • Submission Requirements

  • 2+ years of Experience  - Required
  • BLS & ACLS (AHA) -  Required
  • Epic Experience -  Preferred
  • ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION  (Facility will  NOT  approve scheduling requests at / after time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after offer can be cause for rescinded offer)

  • Work History
  • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
  • 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
  • Candidates' Permanent Address  (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)

  • BLS (AHA)

  • Michigan

    • Additional License Requirements
