The Church of St. Thérèse, Chesapeake, VA, is seeking a full time Director of Music.

Applicants should hold a master’s degree in music (preferred) or equivalent education and experience. A minimum of 3-5 years’ music ministry experience, instrumental and vocal skills, knowledge and appreciation for Catholic liturgy and music.

Requirements include ability to select music and teach music to the assembly, and proficiency in piano and vocal accompaniment. Responsibilities include weekend and seasonal liturgies, holy days, weddings, funerals, and other parish celebrations. This full-time exempt position requires approximately 32 hours per week.
