LOCATE SPECIALIST

Locate Specialist

The Office of Child Support Services (OCSE) is recruiting for a Clerical Associate III to function as a Locate Specialist. The Locate Specialist will :

• Utilize locate tools to find and verify information on the whereabouts of non-custodial parents.
• Research and verify residential addresses and employer leads.
• Compare existing non-custodial parent demographic information to identify and correct case errors.
• Perform and complete assigned special projects for OCSE Management.
• Create and prepare weekly activity worksheets for the immediate Supervisor.
• Participate in unit staff meetings.

Hours : Monday through Friday, 9am 5pm. Work Location : 4 WTC, New York, NY, 40th Floor Clerical Associate - 10251

Qualification Requirements : A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience. Skills Requirement Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
