What Youll Do

• Develop a plan and implement the necessary processes and procedures to enable ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certifications
• Create and implement the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS)
• Design and implement safety training and communication programs across the manufacturing team and wider Lambda organization to build a safety culture
• Maintain working knowledge to ensure compliance of government and industry environmental, health & safety codes and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to initiate safety standards for manufacturing processes, including but not limited to : incoming inspection, assembly, test, QA and shipping
• Create a Job Safety Analysis and ergonomic assessments of manufacturing processes to identify a risk map and implement actions and improvement projects
• Determine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), a method of measuring and reporting to drive safety performance and improvements throughout the organization
• Create and own a system of monitoring safety hazards, near misses and incidents, as well as identifying root causes and tracking actions to eliminate risks
• Create and own a facility maintenance program including the control of third party vendors for cleaning, main equipment maintenance policies, etc

Salary Range Information

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
