This exciting design position offers excellent professional growth opportunities with a 25 year firm and requires a dynamic, responsive, and personable candidate with excellent communication and inter personal skills, and a minimum of 7 years of solid industry design experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead large complex projects and execute all phases of the design cycle, from schematic design to construction documents {Revit), while serving as the primary contact for clients and partnering consulting firms.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate should possess the following experience, skills and abilities :
A minimum of 7 years of detailed architecture / interior design experience
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design required. Candidate should be licensed or actively pursuing licensure.
Proven ability to produce complete and precise interior documentation including finish plans and schedules, custom millwork drawings, and commercial furniture and fixtures.
Mastery of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of accurate technical plans, drawings, and models.
Ability to work well in a team environment and be able to juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations, vendors and construction managers. Must be quality minded, self‑motivated and dedicated to customer service.
High proficiency in Revit; and Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and ln Design graphic software is a plus.
