Direct Bill Commission Associate
The Direct Bill Commission Associate is responsible for accounting support related to the research and maintenance of assigned general ledger account balances and maintaining standards related to the Direct Bill (DB) operating functions supporting these areas.
Essential functions :
- Record direct bill carrier statements for Life and Health and Property and Casualty companies
- Retrieve and match Direct Bill commission statements from carriers to payments received
- Work with other internal and external accounting personnel responsible for activities related to direct bill
- Review, resolve, and respond to discrepancies related to direct bills, with all involved parties of the insurance customer / policy
- Process direct bill commission return payments to carriers
- Maintain banking setups for DB electronic activity with carriers (i.e. commissions / premiums)

2-4 Years of Accounting experience (or educational equivalent) with demonstrated knowledge of accounts receivable and payable preferredA High School diploma requiredCollege education in accounting courses or equivalent experience preferredPrevious insurance experience preferredPrevious experience with EPIC agency management system preferredWorking conditions and reasonable accommodations :
