Position : Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery Location : Eureka, CA Start Date : 12 / 01 / 2025 Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 00 – 06 : 30) Experience : 1 year in L&D (first-timers accepted) Certifications Required : ACLS, BLS, NRP Charting System : Epic Job Highlights : Care for high-risk OB and culturally diverse populations Circulate on cesarean sections Must be willing to float between like units Weekend coverage : every other weekend Travel experience not required Skills / Procedures : Labor & Delivery Management : assist vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hemorrhage management, sterile vaginal exams Neonatal care : APGAR scoring, cord care, metabolic screens, thermoregulation IV therapy / Phlebotomy, blood administration, maintain central lines Postpartum care : breastfeeding support, episiotomy care, fundus / lochia care Pain management : epidural, general anesthesia, IV sedation, PCA Additional Info : Facility provides communication devices if needed Note : Strong L&D experience required; candidates missing required skills / experience should not be submitted.
