Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform.

About the Role :

As a key early member of Nourish's engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our core platform. Working side-by-side with peers in engineering, product, and design, you'll drive the development of critical features that will lay the foundation for years to come. You'll take full ownership of major parts of the codebase, setting ambitious timelines and leading project deliverables. Your contributions will be essential in bringing our product roadmap to life and building scalable technology to transform interactions with patients, dietitians, and insurance companies.

As part of our interview process, you'll chat with our Head of Engineering and members from multiple of our engineering pods, after which we'll place you in a team that aligns well with your skills and areas of interest.

This role is full-time and is a fully in-person role in Nourish's NYC office in the heart of Union Square. We're flexible to hybrid work (3-4 days in office) and support infrequent remote-work stints, but we prioritize an in-person experience for engineers earlier in their career.

Key responsibilities :

• Design, build, and ship cutting-edge products and features at lightning speed without compromising on quality.
• Drive continuous improvements in our engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale both our codebase and team productivity.
• Contribute to the estimations, planning and execution of projects, features, and integrations.
• Maintain and elevate our existing codebase.
• Write clean, fully-tested, high-performance code that sets the standard for excellence.
