Position Description :

We are looking for an Entry Level Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Texas offices. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, and 0 to 6 years of experience in designing natural gas projects. Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and CADWorks preferred. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule available after 30 days of employment.

Typical responsibilities include :

• Design various natural gas transmission and distribution projects, including pipeline, meter stations, and other facilities
• Prepare design reports and construction plans using client, local, state or other applicable standards
• Coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals
• Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
• Document design changes and communications
• Conduct on-site observations as needed
• Prepare project status and other reports
• Assist in the preparation of proposals
• Assist Project Managers as needed
• Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.
• Attend seminars and / or training classes
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Maintain a safe working environment
