Role Description

This is an on-site PhD Student role in Integrated Circuit Design located in Moscow, ID. The PhD Student will be expected to conduct cutting-edge research in integrated circuit design, participate in various projects, collaborate with faculty and peers, and contribute to publications and presentations. Daily tasks may include designing experiments, analyzing data, developing simulation models, and working on circuit prototypes. Additionally, the student will be expected to assist with teaching duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Skills in integrated circuit design, simulation, and testing
• Experience with CAD tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics
• Proficiency in programming languages such as VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
• Ability to conduct independent research and work collaboratively in a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's and Master's degrees in relevant fields
• Prior experience in academic research or industry projects related to integrated circuit design is beneficial
