Job Overview

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business, Department of Marketing, invites applications for a non-tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor - Educator. This search will remain open until the position is filled. Desired start date is August 2026.

The Department of Marketing houses the largest undergraduate major on campus, an online / on-campus Master of Science in Marketing program, as well as a strong Ph.D. program. Our department is both collegial and productive with a strong commitment to quality teaching and research.

Essential Functions

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (may include face-to-face and online versions) such as Fashion Marketing and Merchandising, Marketing Management, Marketing Research and other related topics
  • Course preparation, delivering course content and leading hands-on exercises, holding office hours, as well as grading and preparing assessment materials
  • Participating in curriculum / course development, including developing online courses
  • Providing education-related service activities (e.g., advising student organizations, academic standards review)
  • Engaging in business community outreach (i.e., developing a network) that supports students in finding co-op / full-time employment, as well as possible class projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Prior to effective date of appointment, all of the following are required :

  • Master's degree in Fashion, Marketing or related field
  • One term of collegiate level teaching experience
  • Appointment Details

    Initial appointment is up to three years and can be renewed. Anticipated course load is 12 credit hours per semester. The position is represented by the AAUP.
