About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (06 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Experience : 5 years required, first-time travelers accepted

License : Active state nursing license required

Certifications : BLS required, ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with patient ratios of 1 : 1
• Preferred experience with Epic charting system
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma level I and II experience preferred

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse specializing in cardiovascular operating room care.

The nurse will work four 10-hour days with required call.

BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.

Candidates should have at least five years of nursing experience.

First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Scrubs will be provided for the duration of the contract.

The role requires participation in procedures including, but not limited to :

Anterior lumbar interbody fusion,

Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair,

Cardiac monitoring,

Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG),

Cardiothoracic robotic surgery,

Endoscopic sinus procedures,

Transesophageal echocardiogram, and

Ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation.

Candidates must be comfortable with floating to other units as needed.

Professional references are required from recent employers.

Candidates must have experience within their scope of practice.
