Cleared Full-Time Armed Flex Security Officer
Are you ready to step into a dynamic role as a Cleared Full-Time Armed Flex Security Officer? Embrace the excitement of a variable Full-Time work schedule that keeps you on your toes! Flexibility is the name of the game here, with shifts that change weekly based on incumbent officer's scheduled PTO, training, and call-offs. If you find your groove, you can request a fixed schedule when a permanent one opens up! Your assignments will take you to client sites (two locations) in the areas of the 20151 and 22060 zip codes.
Pay Range : Starting at $43.51 for Baseline Officers and climbing up to $49.94 for Captains. Plus an extra $4.23 for Health and Welfare.
Responsibilities :
- Deter and report unauthorized access
- Prevent and respond to emergencies
- Monitor and respond to security systems
- Identify and report hazardous conditions
- Manage access to secured areasbecause some doors are meant to stay closed.
- Enforce site security regulations
- Document incidents and investigationsevery detail matters.
- Respond to medical emergenciesyour quick thinking could make all the difference.
- Manage keys and safe / vault combinations
- Conduct facility patrolsexploring is part of the job!
- Engage in specialized duties with K-9 teams, Bike Patrol, Emergency Response, and Security Operationswhere no day is ever the same!
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements :
Security Clearance Required : TS-SCI-CI Poly.US. CitizenHigh School Diploma or GEDProficient in reading, writing, and speaking EnglishAt least 21 years of ageValid U.S. state-issued driver's licenseNo domestic violence convictions (Lautenberg compliance)At least one of the following :Two years of service in the U.S. Armed ForcesTwo years of experience in physical security or a combo of military service and security experienceAn Associate degree or higher in a security-related or law enforcement fieldCompletion of a police officer basic training academyThree years of experience as a security officerPreferred Qualifications :
7+ years in Federal or local law enforcement with recent SWAT or tactical experience5+ years in Federal or local law enforcement with a demonstrated career progression4+ years of recent military experience in a combat arms MOSPlus : A solid work history with upward movement and no unexplained gaps.Additional Qualifications :

Business work hours are 24 / 7 and weekend availability is required.Work is typically based in a busy environment and subject to frequent interruptions.May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather.Subject to high noise levelsPhysical Requirements :
