Job Title : Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler where you will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. You will work on electrical wiring and integrate electrical wires into products using hand tools such as crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, and press fits. This role involves mounting assembled components like transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.

Responsibilities

• Connect component wires to circuits and between individual component leads.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
• Position or align components and parts using hand tools or machines.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure assembled parts meet standards.
• Clean and maintain the work area and equipment, including tools.
• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate controlled, ensuring comfort during your shift. The position is for the 1st shift from 6 am to 2 : 30 pm, with occasional overtime opportunities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
