What you get to do :

As an Emergency Medical Tech, you'll deliver the peace of mind that elevates our guest experience. Your reassuring presence will foster a positive atmosphere which enables the highest level of Ambassador performance and guest service. You will :

• Provide emergency medical care and first aid to guests and Ambassadors
• Prepare and assist with transfers of patients to transporting EMS units
• Act as a first responder to medical emergencies in the park
• Inspect vehicles, supplies and equipment to ensure compliance with state requirements
• Complete documentation related to emergency / first aid care
• Operate vehicles for emergency responses and transportations
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines
• Initiate accident investigations for work-related and ride-related incidents
• Perform daily opening and / or closing duties of the First Aid station as well as daily checks on safety and rescue equipment
• Perform miscellaneous functions as required, including but not limited to, general maintenance, organization, and appearance of the First Aid station, restocking of supplies, cleaning treatment areas, and contacting proper support units as needed
• Uphold the highest standards of safety for yourself, Ambassadors, and guests
• Participate in training and drills
• Consistently demonstrate courteous and professional behavior
