This position is hybrid and remote eligible for up to 40% of the time. The office location for this position is at ESL Corporate Headquarters in Rochester, NY. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

Pay and Incentive Plan :
Starting salary : $127,763 Salary Range : $113,031.52 - $142,495.44

Purpose of Position :
The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing solutions that will deliver on the strategic initiatives in a way that is scalable, secure and aligns with our enterprise architecture. This role delivers solutions that enable key capabilities across the organization. It plays a critical role in enabling capability delivery while maintaining architectural integrity and business alignment.
Principle Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
Solution Design & Delivery Alignment
Design end-to-end solutions delivering business needs while maintaining our enterprise architecture standards and approved patterns.
Collaborate with product owners, delivery teams, developers, data architects and infrastructure to ensure solution feasibility.
Ensure use of modularity and reuse of APIs, integrations and services.
Decompose business problems into logical architecture components and capabilities.
Create solution architecture documents, diagrams and integration specifications.
Business Collaboration & Capability Alignment
Ensure technology solutions align with business capabilities and value streams in collaboration with stakeholders.
Map solutions to the business capability model
Assist in developing the domain architecture components
Collaborate with business systems analysts and process team for requirements
Participate in discovery workshops, capability planning and vendor evaluations.
Support domain owners and product teams in capability centered design discussions.
Architecture Standards and Governance
Promote consistency and compliance with architecture standards and guidelines.
Present solutions for review and participate in architecture review.
Contribute to reference architecture definitions and reusable design patterns.
Evaluate technical debt risk and recommend modernization options.
Mentor IT staff in best practices and architectural thinking.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 5 years experience designing solutions in IT
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks
Deep understanding of API design and integration patterns
Familiarity with cloud platforms
Strong analytical skills
Proven leadership and the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
