Position Title : NOC Shift Residential Counselor

Location : Sherman Oaks

Reports To : Program Manager / Director of Residential Services

Job Summary : As a NOC (Night / Observation / On -Call) Shift Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety, well-being, and therapeutic environment of a 6-bed detoxification and residential program during nighttime hours. Your primary role will be to ensure the physical and emotional security of residents, provide crisis intervention when necessary, and maintain a supportive and therapeutic milieu conducive to recovery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Residential Monitoring and Support :

Conduct regular checks on residents throughout the night to ensure their safety and well-being.

Respond promptly to any crises or emergencies that may arise during the night.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of nightly activities, incidents, and resident progress.

Provide emotional support and guidance to residents during nighttime hours.

Ensure the physical security of the facility by monitoring access and conducting perimeter checks.

Communicate effectively with daytime staff regarding resident progress, concerns, and treatment plans.
