Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Adelphi is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric medical services to students at a school district in El Paso, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide psychiatric services in accordance with federal, state, and district regulations and policies.

Requirements :

MD / DO

Active Texas License

BC / BE

Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical psychiatry (pediatric / adolescent focus preferred)

Responsibilities :

Conduct new psychiatric evaluations (60-minute sessions).

Conduct follow-up psychiatric appointments (30-minute sessions).

Provide medication management.

Maintain accurate and timely charting, notation, and dictation for all patient encounters.

Collaborate with school counselors, nurses, and administration (as needed) to support students mental health plans.

Ensure services are in compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and all relevant data security and privacy regulations.

Respond to district communication and documentation requirements in a timely and professional manner.
