Certified Forklift Operator

Overview : We are seeking a Certified Forklift Operator to support a government contract involving the safe transport and handling of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments that require travel to multiple job sites. Responsibilities : Operate forklifts and related heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials. Safely move, stage, and secure heavy equipment for shipment and installation. Follow all safety protocols and equipment handling procedures in accordance with OSHA standards. Support logistics and site setup operations for government projects. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and related equipment. Maintain accurate documentation of equipment movement and project activities. Travel to various sites as required by project schedules. Qualifications : Valid Forklift Certification (required). Experience operating forklifts in industrial, military, or government environments preferred. Ability to travel frequently and work on-site as needed. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations. Active security clearance or prior military service strongly preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments. Preferred : Experience handling large or sensitive government equipment. OSHA or additional heavy equipment safety certifications.
