Nursing Assistant Position
Performs as a Nursing Assistant within the care management team under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Performs delegated nursing tasks for which competence is demonstrated through the Nursing Assistant skills checklist.
Minimum Job Requirements
Licensure, Registration and / or Certification
Education
High School diploma or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Provides services in a setting where there is potential for exposure to blood and other high risk body fluids, chemotherapy agents, communicable disease and hazardous materials, chemicals, and waste.
Requires frequent standing walking, bending, reaching and carrying / lifting up to 50 lbs.
Unit Description :
The Clinical Resource Unit (CRU) is the internal float pool. It consists of direct care staff who works on the various inpatient units. CNAs float to all inpatient units and the EDTC. CRU nursing assistants are often assigned to sitter patients.
Schedule :
11 : 00pm-7 : 30am - 1 night / week - self-schedule
