Payroll Specialist
Internal payroll team is looking for a detail oriented professional to help with payroll related activities. This individual will be responsible for check disbursements, facilitating required documents to be notarized, consolidation and tracking of documents, and other ad hoc requests as needed. Successful candidates will have financial analysis / administration experience in payroll, audit or finance, be detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities. You should not only be passionate about delivering extensible, on-time solutions, but should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of innovative and customer-centric programs and processes. Individuals should be comfortable with handling payroll / accounting related tasks, but also be able to identify process improvement opportunities, have a high degree of customer obsession and a proven track record of being able to operate in a fast paced environment with minimal oversight.
Required skills - Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve. Results oriented with a strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with team members. Have the ability to define new processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions to problems. Strong excel and analytical skills.
Preferred skills - Prior experience with payroll. Experience supporting medium to large size companies. Skills accounting, excel data entry, payroll, excel pivot tables.
This position is a heavy data entry and administrative tasks in nature relating to payroll. This individual will be in charge of some physical checks and very large sums of money. Pay and benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
