Salary :

New Brunswick Counseling Center is seeking a part time Counselor In Training to join our team at Burlington Comprehensive Center at our Mount Holly Location! You will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings.

Responsibilities :

  • Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
  • Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
  • Provide prevention-oriented therapy
  • Implement and review treatment plans
  • Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
  • Familiarity with community mental health resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Currently working on obtaining LAC / LSW licensure

    • SCHEDULE 20-22 hrs. per week : ONSITE-Mon-Fri 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m. (Any two days) / 8 : 30 p.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. (one day) as per agency requirement.
