As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the education location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or identify potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report any unusual activities, security-related risks, or policy violations to the appropriate authorities and / or Allied Universal management.
• Assist with crowd management and access control to educational facilities, helping to maintain order during events and daily operations.
• Provide information and assistance to those on campus, addressing questions and / or concerns in a professional manner.
• Follow post orders and instructions as provided by Allied Universal and the site leadership.

Minimum Requirements :

• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
