Overview
A leading health and wellness company is seeking an Interim Contracts Counsel to support its legal team. The role is designed for immediate assistance and is expected to last a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent for the right candidate. The organization is recognized for its mission-driven culture and innovative approach to health transformation.
Experience :
Minimum 4+ years of experience
Location :
Hybrid (4 days in-office at a downtown location in a major U.S. city; location may change within the metro area)
Responsibilities
Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements)
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contract terms with business objectives
Assist with contract lifecycle management
Provide guidance on risk mitigation and contractual obligations
Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal oversight
Support a lean legal department and be willing to take on varied tasks
Experience with HR, Labor & Employment, Tech and / or Manufacturing environments preferred, but not required
Qualifications
4+ years of experience
Licensed attorney (active bar membership required; specific jurisdiction not specified)
Familiarity with contract management systems (no specific system required) and MS Office Suite
Pay Rate
$80
