Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced X-Ray Technologist for night shifts in a busy radiology department, requiring ARRT certification and a SC state license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a robust radiology department
  • Night shift schedule from 8 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM, Monday through Thursday
  • Radiologic exams performed on a variety of patient types using department equipment
  • Properly position patients and perform all radiographic examinations
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintain supplies and ensure equipment remains in good working order
  • Ongoing participation in continuing education and in-services is expected
  • Exhibit professionalism and excellent customer service with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Graduation from an approved AMA radiologic technology program
  • ARRT certification required within 12 months of program completion
  • Active South Carolina state license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only)
  • Minimum of 1 year of X-ray technologist experience
  • Familiarity with all radiographic equipment and ability to operate at any time
