Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic for our brand-new industrial bakery in Salt Lake City. These newly created positions offer a unique opportunity to work on state-of-the-art production equipment and help shape operations from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Install, modify, and repair equipment to ensure operational efficiency
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS
- Assist with equipment changeovers, setups, and calibrations
- Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns
Technical Skills & Knowledge: - Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with PLCs and VFDs (basic electrical troubleshooting a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, FDA, DEP, EPA, and TCPA regulations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Other Requirements: - High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
- Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience (food industry preferred)
- Good decision-making, initiative, and organizational skills
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office
- Must be able to understand, speak, and write English
