We are seeking a talented
- Senior Project Designer
- to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in design projects, collaborate closely with discerning clients, and work alongside the firm's leadership. - Key Responsibilities :
- Partner with the Principal to define and establish the design direction for each project.
- Develop schematic plans, elevations, and conceptual layouts.
- Produce comprehensive construction documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare all FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and OSE (Operating Supplies & Equipment) specifications.
- Source, select, and price interior materials and furnishings in collaboration with the Principal.
- Effectively communicate design intent and details to builders, consultants, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ideal Candidate Qualifications :
- In-depth knowledge of building materials, finishes, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey design ideas clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Genuine passion for architecture and interior design, with an eye for sophistication and livability.
- Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Required Experience & Skills :
- Minimum of 7 years of post-college experience in interior design or architecture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite, with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
