As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding promptly to situations, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and a helpful attitude. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $21.20 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday to Friday : 07 : 45 AM - 04 : 15 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the location.
  • Collaborate with site staff and visitors to promote a secure environment.
  • Maintain detailed records and write reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support access control procedures, including monitoring entry and exit points as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
