MRG Exams, a leader and premier service provider of independent medical examinations, is currently looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. In this unique opportunity, you will be supporting an office of medical practitioners who are performing disability evaluations for United States Veterans.
The Medical Assistant will play a critical role in maintaining the well-being of the office facilities, patients, and medical practitioners by providing a supportive and clean environment. The Medical Assistant will have strong communication skills with a dedication to customer service.
Schedule - Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, 1 hr lunch
Requirements
MRG Exams is looking for a Medical Assistant who will :
- Open and close the office daily
- Greeting examinees, visitors, and guests
- Complete patient confirmation calls and check-ins
- Clean and prep exam rooms between patient visits
- Answer phones, confirm scheduled appointments, and manage examinee flow
- Manage office equipment and supplies
- Maintain consistent communication with MRG Operations team
Essential attributes :
Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to perform diagnostic testing, including EKGs, PFTs, ABIs, and Blood DrawsOrganization with strong attention to detailKnowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirementsExperience working in a medical environmentCertification Requirements
Associate degree in Medical Assisting or graduation from an accredited vocational programCertified Medical Assistant (CMA), unrestricted and in good standing (required if mandated by state)Phlebotomy certification (if required by state)Active / current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationMinimum of 3 years of clinical experience in primary care, occupational health, or physical medicine preferredBenefits
