Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hospitalist MD in Texas!

About The Position

We are seeking a Hospitalist for an 8-day locum tenens assignment in Texas beginning Dec 15, 2025. This opportunity offers onsite 8-hour shifts with additional call. Call-back is rare, and admissions are required. The schedule runs Dec 15-22 with a 7a-7a shift structure.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide inpatient care
  • Perform admissions as required
  • Work 8 hours onsite per shift with additional call coverage
  • Respond to calls within 30 minutes
  • Participate in rare call-back situations as needed

    • Additional Information

  • Active Texas medical license required (IMLC not accepted)
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hospital Medicine
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
