We are looking for an experienced CEI Senior Inspector in the Orlando, FL area to add to our FDOT highway team and work alongside our technical experts to provide contributions to the development of new techniques and standards. Help our team grow by mentoring the early professionals while assisting resident engineers and project administrators in completion of inspection work in accordance with projects and client specifications. Main Responsibilities :

• Determine the acceptability of the day-to-day work by the contractor
• Review and recommend accepting or rejecting daily reports submitted by the contractor
• Performs inspection of the contractor's quality control procedures
• Performs material testing and verifies that procedures are in conformance with the approved Quality Control Plan and established procedures.
• Reviews material testing procedures and results for conformance to the contract and measures quantities of materials placed.
• May be required to perform sampling and / or in-place testing of soil, aggregate base, concrete, and asphalt concrete pavement.

The base salary range for this position is $59,000.00 to $60,320.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
