AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract job in Anchorage, Alaska. Qualifications : Masters Degree in Communication and Speech Disorders Type C teaching certification through state of AK Dept of Ed. CFs are welcome to apply! Role Overview : As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education / treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development. Job Details : The caseloads are primarily mainstream with diagnoses such as speech delays, articulation, stuttering, developmental delays Previous school system experience (fieldwork) as a Speech-Language Pathologist is a plus but not required Familiarity with the IEP process is also helpful You'll receive plenty of support from the team whether you need assistance getting settled or with your job duties; Alaskans work as a team! To be considered for employment, CCC preferred, but strong CFs with school-based fieldwork are eligible and will be considered Rates are based on experience.
