Production Equipment Operator – World's Largest Surface Coal Mine
Location : Wright, Wyoming

This mine boasts an impressive 465 million tons of coal reserves and plays a key role in powering communities across the country.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Equipment Operator, you will play a critical role in keeping coal production running smoothly and safely. Your daily responsibilities will include :
Operating Mine Equipment – Load, dig, and transport coal and waste materials for maximum recovery
Safety First – Follow the "Safety as a Way of Life" Management System and conduct pre-start inspections of equipment and work areas
Equipment Care – Inspect, monitor, and service equipment to ensure peak performance
Problem Solving – Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions using control panels and equipment systems
Mentorship – Train and guide junior production employees
Compliance – Ensure all activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the overall success of the operation.

What We're Looking For
3+ years of heavy equipment experience on a mine site (preferred)
Now accepting experienced OTR Truck Operators willing to transition into mining!
Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, etc.
Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and on rotating shifts
High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on, physical position. You should be able to :
Stand or sit for extended periods
Climb stairs, steps, ladders, and on / off equipment
Wear and use all required PPE
Perform repetitive hand / wrist motions and maintain quick reflexes
Lift 10–50 lbs. multiple times per shift
Work in extreme weather conditions, varying light, and around equipment noise

Pay Details : $23.00 per hour
