We are a growing Metro Detroit based law firm seeking a dedicated and organized Legal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting legal professionals in delivering high-quality services to our clients. Experience is required for this role and familiarity with Word, Google Docs, Excel and MiFile (efiling).

Responsibilities : File Complaints

Monitor Service of Summons and Complaints on Defendants

Draft and Send Out Discovery

File Pleadings

Coordinate and Set Up Depositions / Facilitations

Authorizations

Manage the Attorney's Calendar

Save Pleadings / Documents to Client's Files

Communicate with Clients Regarding Their Case
