HVAC Foreman
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Foreman to lead and supervise a team in the installation of all facets of HVAC ductwork and equipment. This role involves setting units, connecting systems, performing layout and field measurements, and ensuring accurate installation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating equipment placement and material lifts with crane operators, maintaining inventory levels, and reporting daily progress to the Project Manager.
Lead and supervise a crew of 23 team members, assigning tasks and maintaining workflow.
Install HVAC ductwork and equipment, including setting units and connecting systems.
Perform layout and field measurements to ensure accurate installation.
Unload and organize materials and equipment on-site.
Coordinate with crane operators for equipment placement and material lifts.
Maintain proper inventory levels of materials and supplies.
Report daily progress and updates to the Project Manager.
Read and work independently from blueprints and technical drawings.
Minimum of 5 years of lead experience in HVAC installation.
Proven ability to field measure and relay information to the shop.
Clean driving record and strong documentation and communication skills.
Proficiency in completing redlines and filling out time cards accurately.
Experience with HVAC systems, mechanical installations, and sheet metal work.
Strong skills in ductwork installation, equipment setup, layout, field measuring, unloading, and crane coordination.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Must bring your own basic tools of the trade.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and BG check.

You will be working in a variety of environments, setting units outside on rooftops and performing the rest of the work indoors. This requires comfort with working both in the elements and inside. The role involves traveling to job sites, with potential for taking a company vehicle home on weekends depending on your proximity to the workplace.
This is a Permanent position based out of Hays, Kansas.
The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $81120.00 / yr.
