Key Job Details - Boise ICU Nursing Jobs Location : Boise, ID 83712 (Idaho healthcare jobs) Setting : Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Critical Care Unit Shift : 12 Hour Nights; 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm - 7 : 30am), every other weekend Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Duration : 26-week travel nursing contract (Start : 11 / 1 / 2025 - End : 5 / 2 / 2026) Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 - $1800 Floating : May float to other ICUs in the Valley (Meridian Medical Center, Nampa Medical Center) and may be assigned as a 1 : 1 sitter outside of ICU Qualifications for ICU RN Travel Jobs Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a similar or larger hospital setting Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required Proficient in titrating critical drips (Dopamine, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, Cardene, Nitro, Neosynephrine, Vasopressin, Diltiazem, Insulin, Esmolol) Experience with Epic EMR charting system preferred Ability to read and monitor own strips (Spacelabs) Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the Boise facility ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in MICU and SICU units Manage patients with complex diagnoses : CABG, CVA, subarachnoid hemorrhage, GI bleeds, DKA, STEMI, septic shock, respiratory failure, neurosurgery, and open heart procedures Titrate and monitor critical drips and patient status Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams : hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and CNAs Float to other ICUs within the Boise Valley as needed Participate in unit-specific orientation (1-2 shifts) Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR Boise, Idaho offers a unique blend of urban amenities and outdoor adventure, making it a top destination for travel nurses.
