About The Position

Description :

The unit includes a number of beds and a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

Staff consists of Radiologists, Radiology Techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, and CT Techs.

On day shifts, there is a Director, Radiologist, and 6-7 Techs available.

Night shifts are covered by a Charge RN, an on-call team, and 3-4 Techs, varying based on patient volume.

Patient ratios vary from 1 : 1 to 1 : 2, depending on patient stability.

The equipment used includes various GE products, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy units.

EMR utilized is Meditech.

Call requirements are for 4-6 shifts a month on off days.

Typical procedures performed include CT scans, MRI, body scanning, and X-rays.

The role involves creating images of bones, organs, and tissues to assist in accurate assessments.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills and medical and anatomical knowledge.

A mechanical aptitude and the ability to multi-task while working with various physicians and patients are essential.

Dress code requires wearing black scrubs, which candidates must provide themselves.

The facility is recognized for its specializations in various medical services and is also a teaching facility.
