Are you ready to take the next step in your construction management career? We're seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team, with a focus on commercial interior fit-outs and renovations across New York City.

This is a great opportunity for a rising professional to gain hands-on exposure to all phases of project execution - from design coordination to budgeting, scheduling, and closeout - while supporting a seasoned PM team on high-end office and tenant improvement work.

🔨 What You'll Do

Support the Project Manager across all phases of construction : design review, procurement, contract management, construction execution, and project closeout.

Coordinate directly with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure project alignment with design intent and code compliance.

Help manage project schedules, budgets, bank requisitions, and vendor invoices.

Maintain accurate and organized documentation across all construction phases.

Ensure permits, inspections, and approvals are secured in a timely manner.

Participate in punch list walks and oversee closeout efforts to deliver a fully functional and polished space to the client.

🎯 What We're Looking For

2-3 years of experience supporting interior renovation or fit-out projects (corporate, retail, institutional, or healthcare).

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering , or related field (Master's degree a plus).

Familiarity with NYC / NJ project experience is a must - you should know how to navigate DOB requirements, site logistics, and urban coordination challenges.

Working knowledge of estimating, budgeting, construction sequencing, and safety practices.

Strong written / verbal communication skills, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Team player with a proactive, organized mindset and the drive to grow into a leadership role.
