Responsibilities
People Leadership
Identifies, schedules and interviews teacher candidates; builds networks of external future talentConducts classroom observations, evaluations and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learningManages team to ensure curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standardsUses a growth mindset to train, coach and develop for the futureListens objectively to employee concerns and plans a recommended course of actionBuilds and communicates weekly schedulesDaily management of classroom ratiosManages new hire paperwork and all employee files in compliance with state licensing regulationsBuilds and communicates center schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are always intact and labor is effectively managed to budgetCustomer Focus
Leads tour with prospective families, highlighting key features / points of difference with our curriculum, teacher tenure / quality, etc.Regularly communicates with families regarding student progressExecutes “parent pleasers”Execution of our Show and TellRegularly audits and maintains all records and files for students and teachersEnsures the physical environment and health / safety standards are full compliance with local and state licensing regulationsManages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluationsResponsible for accident / incident reportingMedication managementConducts monthly emergency safety drillsManages new customer administration and files in compliance with state licensing regulationsQualifications
New York State certification in B-2 or equivalentTwo or more years of center leadership / management experience highly preferred; at least one year requiredNew York Early Childhood (Birth-2) CertificationProfessional teaching experience with infant to preschool childrenBachelor’s degree in ECE or related field highly preferredStrong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulationsCPR and First Aid Certification highly preferredMust meet state-specific guidelines for the roleThis franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
