  • Facility Setting : Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Unit (29 beds, 1 OR suite)\n
  • Start Date : September 29, 2025\n
  • End Date : December 6, 2025\n
  • Duration : 10 weeks\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy Blue or hospital-issued\n
  • Parking : Free on-site\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (Registered Nurse – North Carolina or compact state)\n
  • BLS, ACLS, EFM, and NRP certifications required\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) nursing experience\n
  • Proficient in all aspects of LDRP patient care, including circulating C-sections and newborn care\n
  • NCC-EFM or RNC-OB certification preferred\n
  • Willingness to float within the region as needed\n
  • Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nursing requirement)\n

    • \n\nRN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients\n
  • Manage high-risk obstetric diagnoses (PPH, diabetes requiring insulin, PROM, placenta previa, and more)\n
  • Assist in GYN surgical cases, including hysterectomies\n
  • Circulate C-sections and provide newborn care (heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, lactation support)\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team : OB Techs, CNAs, receptionists, charge nurses, case managers, RTs, physicians, pediatricians, and lactation consultants\n
  • Document patient care using EPIC EMR and operate advanced equipment (Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, GE Corometrics fetal monitors)\n
  • Float to other healthcare facilities within the region as needed, with paid travel time\n
