Specialized Travel Consultant

What You'll Do

  • Advise and arrange travel for the CEO and C-Suite Executives
  • Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations
  • Manage private jet aviation travel services
  • Ensure contingency plans are available for flights, hotels, and other transportation services
  • Hotel arrangements as well as pre-payment confirmations prior to arrival of guest
  • Actively monitor traveler profiles to ensure all information is current
  • Work closely with passport and visa providers when needed
  • Use Sabre Global Distribution Systems (GDS)
  • Communicate effectively with customers over the telephone, messaging (chat), e-mail, and / or back office systems
  • Act as a trusted advisor by using travel expertise to proactively provide advice and selling additional services to clients to meet their needs while adhering to their company's travel policy

What We're Looking For

  • Previous VIP Servicing in travel (preferably business travel) and understanding of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, and hotel
  • Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs
  • Native GDS expertise (Sabre)
  • Professional communication (written and verbal)
  • Extreme attention to detail and laser focus to achieve all task provided
  • Act with integrity, and look after personal traveler information
  • Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in VIP business travel)
  • Resolving customer issues quickly and independently
  • Teamwork and openness to feedback
  • Location United States

    The US national base salary range for this position is from $46,200.00 - $85,800.00. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location. In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and / or company performance.
