Job descriptionOverview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our practice. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and diagnosing patients with respiratory conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients in our outpatient setting. Responsibilities Conduct Pulmonary Function Testing Provide patient education Patient coordination of care Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities. Proper care and maintenance of medical equipment as needed Qualifications Valid Respiratory Therapy license or certification as required by state regulations. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in healthcare. Experience administering PFTs. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to respiratory care. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education. Commitment to providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations, including geriatrics.
