Registered Nurse- Med-Surg (Day Shift)

Location : Palatka, FL, 32177

Shift : 12-hr Day | 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

Job Type : Permanent, Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours : (36 hours / week)

Compensation : (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities :

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the nursing process.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and nursing procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations using appropriate critical thinking skills.

Qualifications :

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
