We are currently looking for a BOH team member to join our family kitchen, who is available to work eving shift, passionate about food, hardworking, eager to learn new things, and willing to work as a great supportive team player.
Necessary responsibilities of a prep cook :
- Preparing, standing service, and cleaning the station
- Washing, slicing, cutting, chopping, dicing, peeling are required
- Maintaining cleanliness : keeping the kitchen area clean and organized
- Understanding and ensuring food safety : requires knowledge of food handling, storage procedures, and labeling
- Inventory ingredients and report to the kitchen manager
- Assisting other tasks : which may involve dishwashing, restocking, organizing, and other kitchen routines
- Ability to communicate clearly with the kitchen manager and other kitchen staff
Skills and qualities :
Advanced knife skill : the ability to butcher and debone chicken, and duck, and safe food preparationPhysical condition : the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy items, walk up and down the stairsTeamwork : the ability to work in a team and provide support and ensure the smooth operationCleanliness : understand and maintain the restaurant's high standard of cleanliness and sanitation (making it a top criteria of your daily work)Pay attention to details
