Interventional Radiology Tech

Shift: 58s | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM | One call weekend per month
Duration: 13-week assignment (potential extension)

A skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist is needed for a contract role in Hartford, CT. This position performs advanced IR procedures, maintains high imaging standards, and ensures patient comfort and safety throughout the exam process.

• Perform high-quality IR procedures following established protocols and timelines

• Utilize AIDET for patient communication and ensure correct exam execution

• Prepare procedure room, position patients, and set appropriate exposure factors

• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique

• Maintain equipment cleanliness, report technical issues, and assist with inventory management

• Screen all individuals entering the imaging area per approved guidelines

• Document patient information, procedure details, and imaging records accurately

• Collaborate with imaging engineers and physicists to optimize equipment performance

• Citizenship: US Citizen or Green Card holder

• Certification: ARRT License required

• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of Interventional Radiology experience

• Shift: 58s, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, plus one call weekend per month
