Job description

JOB SUMMARY

The Specialist - IT Application Support position is remote with access provided via DaaS. The candidate will support SAP BW systems and related reporting environments, ensuring reliable production support and data integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support SAP BW 7.x on HANA using Eclipse / HANA Studio
  • Work with 7.x objects (ADSO, Composite Providers, Transformations, DTPs, Queries, Process Chains) and 3.x objects (Transfer / Update Rules)
  • Read, debug, and adjust ABAP start / end routines in BW
  • Provide support for MM, FI, and SD-centric reporting
  • Use BEx Analyzer and Analysis for Office, support data handoff to Power BI
  • Monitor data loads, troubleshoot issues, and manage transports / changes
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly in English

Required Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience with SAP BW 7.x on HANA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in BEx tools and production support
  • Good English communication and teamwork skills

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CPI-DS (Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services)
  • Understanding of BW authorizations (RSECADMIN, org roles)
  • Exposure to BW / 4HANA or SAP Datasphere

    • Education : Bachelors Degree
