EHS Manager

Description

Duties and Responsibilities :

Safety

• Develop, administer, and maintain training programs related to employee safety.
• Coordinate with contractors or governmental inspectors to conduct and / or coordinate facility safety inspections and related repairs.
• Champion the compliance of federal, state, and local regulations such as OSHA, DOT and NFPA for the facility.
• Facilitate all safety meetings / training and documentation to ensure employees receive the company's required safety training.
• Perform job hazard analysis to identify hazards within the workplace. Coach and guide employees and management regarding safety compliance concerns and safe product applications.
• Investigate safety incidents involving company property or employees. Prepare documentation to ensure adequate investigation and preservation of evidence.
• Coordinate with medical providers to facilitate medical / hearing exams and transportation of injured or ill employees to medical facilities.
• Manage or assist with OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
• Create and administer the emergency response procedures for facility.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
