Job Overview This position will primarily focus on the clinical care of companion animals but will also offer substantial opportunities for scholarly growth, contributing to the advancement of one medicine and the development of innovative treatments applicable to both veterinary and human patients. About the Community VROC offers cutting-edge therapies for companion animals, equipped with state-of-the-art treatment systems. Our team closely collaborates with Medical Physics and Engineering division to deliver the most advanced care available. The Department of Radiation Oncology receives substantial funding from federal and state agencies, including multiple R01 grants, supporting a wide range of research areas such as small-animal irradiation, PET instrumentation, medical imaging, image-guided therapy, heavy ion therapy, automatic treatment planning, and artificial intelligence.
Qualifications
The Veterinary Radiation Oncology Clinic (VROC) within the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center invites applications for a tenure-track or clinical track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Veterinary Radiation Oncology. We seek candidates with a DVM degree or equivalent and ACVR Radiation Oncology board certification to join our expanding clinical team.
