Responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality goods and services at the most competitive prices. The role involves collaboration with various departments to understand their needs, conducting market research, and negotiating contracts with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement needs.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and trends.
• Analyze and forecast market conditions and industry trends to inform sourcing decisions.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements.
• Draft and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Resolve contractual disputes and issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing and procurement.
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing.
• Work closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs and requirements.
• Communicate sourcing strategies and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive procurement efficiencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in supply.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and contract management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) preferred.
