Job Summary
BMW of North Haven has an immediate opening for a Parts Counter Associate to join our team. The individual in this role will serve as a liaison between customers and parts personnel, stocking parts, and assisting in sales and inventory. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years previous parts counter experience and a passion for customer service.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full time position with an hourly base rate plus commission. We offer very competitive wages commensurate with parts experience.
Pay range $55,000 - $85,000 based on experience.
The position offers dental, vision, and health insurance.
Responsibilities
-Take customer orders and answer queries over the phone, interact directly with customers, technicians or in person as required
-Assist customers in selecting the correct parts/accessories they need
-Provide exceptional customer service daily
-Inspect all parts for defects and ensure quality
-Verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies
-Stock, organize, and rotate all merchandise
-Maintain cleanliness of the parts counter
-Perform daily tasks assigned by the Parts Manager
Requirements
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Previous Parts Counter experience (5 years minimum)
-Knowledge of automobile parts and inventory
-Excellent customer service skills
-Organizational and problem solving skills
-Be dependable, reliable and have a positive attitude
-Ability to lift and move product items up to 60 pounds
